Obviously, this is targeted at small business people. That's kind of a given I think.
However, people who work for other size businesses and are getting 'thrown" into Linux and opensource are also welcome here as well. More than once I have talked to an IT tech or admin that was informed one day at a team meeting that they will need to learn Linux or some opensource app, thanks, have a nice day. If that sounds like you, you are welcome here.
People in the education field are also welcome here too. Many a school has computers in the classroom as well as in the office. Teachers and IT staff and anyone involved wants to have somewhere they can get solutions.
You may (or may not) have noticed, that instead of being Linux centered, I have made changes to make this more tech centered. inclusive of Linux, Windows and even Apple discussions.
As an IT admin of a school that uses versions of all three of these OS's, I can appreciate having somewhere to talk about making things work, not just some things.
If you are in a place where only one OS is used and only one type of hardware, etc..., you should feel lucky. For the rest of us, we have to find ways to make all of these things play together without all the nerdly bashing and angry talk.
Finding solutions, that's what this place is about.
