I am at Home Depot and they have a Belkin 12 outlet power strip with USB ports as well.
I am wondering if it is pushing it in terms of the load on the outlet supplying it. Or even worse, a fire hazard.
I would not be surprised if this gets recalled due to fire hazard. I think I have several strips that hold 8 plugs and one that holds 6.
I just wish the house had more outlets but it was built in 1988 when most houses had a TV, cable box with 40 channels max along with a VCR, a record player, and an alarm clock. The builders/electricians in that day never imagined several computers/laptops, networking gear, tablets, smartphone chargers, multiple gaming consoles (that are 100 times more powerful than the ones in 1988), big screen plasma TVs, printers, etc.
