Majority of the users who owns a Smartphone running on Windows Phone 7.5 OS are counting days to when the Windows Phone 7.8 upgrade that Microsoft has assured will arrive on their older Smartphone’s. According to the reports of Singapore, “Windows Phone 7.8 OS has already been released to manufacturing (RTM) earlier this week.”
The news is directly coming from a developer event held in Singapore which was focused on Windows Phone 8 development via WMPU and developers at the event were informed that the Windows Phone 7.8 upgrade is anticipated to release in just few days to week. Microsoft and Nokia together held the event but it is vague that whether this upgrade will roll out only to Nokia Lumia Smartphone in the mentioned time period or to Smartphone’s of other OEMs too. As per the sources,” IE10 will not be making way to the older devices with the Windows Phone 7.8 upgrade as the browser is said to be fully hardware accelerated.”
The Windows Phone 7.8 upgrade will bring the new start screen which will arrive with three Live Tile sizes that users can customize. Few days back, a leaked slide pointed out that older devices will also get twenty themes which users will be able to use to customize their Windows Phone Smartphone’s.
Microsoft is expected to include feature to edit MP3 files and use it as a ringtone, while the Internet Explorer could come up with security updates and fixes. Even Rooms and Xbox Music feature could also arrive with the upgrade. _________________ seo services
An official Windows Phone 7.8 rollout to Nokia devices like the Lumia 510, 800 and 900 seemed all but inevitable after it popped up on third party Nokia ROM tool NaviFirm, then a couple days later on Nokia's own servers. Now, Dutch site WP7.nl is reporting that Nokia has started rolling it out in earnest to the Lumia 800 from the Zune desktop software, at least on that side of the pond. Provided your device is up-to-date, you may soon receive a certain "Nokia update," which will then be followed by four larger downloads. When the dust settles, you'll see a newfangled splash screen, customization options and Xbox Tile (among numerous other changes), heralding your not-completely-abandoned handset's arrival nearly into the Windows Phone 8 era.
