I don't really know but, what I would try is to moisten the area with a cleaner and water. Then, I would tip or lean the mattress over so gravity takes affect and use a shop vac to pull out the cat urine. Repeat a few times then use some odor killer from a pet store or such. I dread this ever happening to our same type of mattress. If it ever does this is what I will try before disposing of it.I went through the same thing a few months ago but with my son who is still young enough to have accidents. I had to throw it away because I couldn't figure out how to clean it. It is like a giant sponge! I hope you had better luck than I did.
