But not nearly as much as a professional web designer would cost, learning Adobe Dreamweaver is fairly easy. I've found that it's very efficient for maintaining any web site you could put together. Here's a link to some information about it, and some older versions are just as good as the brand new release, and less expensive as well.if you pursue web design as a "career" then you could be a freelancer, that is, you work alone. People call you up, and tell you exactly what they want, you design something, they buy it off you. simple as that.you could also work for some company, to develop and maintain parts of their site which need continuous additions. most large companies will hire web developers/designers.
