The driving age should be left at 16. However I would suggest that no hardships are allowed to lower the age and that the drivers are limited to no driving after 9:00 PM until they are 18. Drivers 16 to 18 are the highest risk group of all. I really don't understand the drinking age being at 21. It used to be 18 for beer and wine many years ago. I do feel that a college kid at 18 and a potential soldier should be able to drink. While I sort of agree with you on the DWI, I think that you should have one chance.I've worked in an ED (emergency department) in the hospital and I've seen couple people coming in on their 8th even 10th dwi and those are the people who shouldn't be out and about.
