Go to Fook Hing at Bras Basah complex. If he is in his fifties, get him a nice fountain pen. Parker is no longer a good brand. They got bought over by Gillete and they in pen wilderness ever since. Forget also the overpriced with bird splatter resin plastic Mont Blanc. Look at Japanese fountain pens like Sailor or Pilot. He will appreciate the thoughtfulness.I saw 10 Bic pens at local drugstore for $1. And they're nice pens. Not fancy, but they work. $1. and you want free pens. Well, it's easy. use a search engine and type in free parker pens and you will see a number of websites offering free parker pens. of course, you have to provide mailing address, email address and phone number and expect to be contacted by a sales person who assumes you are interested in whatever they are selling - but you aren't.
