Partygoers could dress in Chinese style or even dress as animals from the Chinese zodiac. Since this is the Year of the Dog, perhaps they can all dress as dogs! (Come to think of it, a dog themed party wouldn't be a bad idea either--serve a bone-shaped cake and get dog bowls for plates and well, I don't know if I'd go as far as letting the kids stick their faces in the bowl to eat, but it depends on how far you want to go with that idea!)
