I went to lunch today with fellow business owner to exchange ideas. He mentioned to me that his company recently outsourced their payroll department. The reason he gave me was that his office had to make room for their HR department and payroll was taking up too much space. Is it common for businesses to outsource their payroll departments? I'm always open to new ideas that can save my business money, and would like to here what other companies have to say about outsourcing payroll departments.
