Personally, I have tried most of the common commercial offerings. Cisco, LinkSys (pre-Cisco and with Cisco), Belkin, D-Link, NetGear, etc...
I tend to stick to LinkSys and Cisco on my own choice, if I can. Belkin is one of my least favorites.
Part of it, I am sure is familiarity, but I also just seem to get the most troubles from Belkin and D-link routers. Little, annoying problems that just don't seem to happen or happen as often in the Cisco/LinkSys routers.
I really like LinkSys because those are the ones I have the most success with when replacing the installed OS with a Linux based one instead. |
